http://www.kids.gov is the official web portal of the U.S. Government for kids. It links to over 1,200 web pages from government agencies, schools, and educational organizations, all geared to the learning level and interest of kids. The sites are divided into two age groups: k-5 and 6-8. The site also includes a section for educators which includes links to helpful lesson plans, classroom activities and web resources. A link to this page will be added to the “Government Resources” pages for both the Elementary and MS Media Centers.
